This “Portfolio” page is where I, Usman Jatoi, show my work. It’s a collection of projects I’ve done, showing my skills and what I can build. My journey in the digital world began very early, and this portfolio is a record of that journey.

I was born on April 18, 2006, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. My family moved back to Khanpur District, Pakistan, when I was two years old. This is where I grew up, and it’s also where my interest in all things digital began to take shape. My digital path started when I was just seven years old, and by twelve, I was already working professionally. This portfolio shows the results of those many years of work.

The First Pieces of My Portfolio

When I was young, I was eager to learn many digital skills. I tried coding, making games, and building apps. Even though I found that pure coding wasn’t my long-term path, I still gained some basic skills. These early attempts helped me understand how digital things are made, which was important for my later portfolio pieces.

Then, in late 2019, I started learning graphic design. This felt right to me; it let me be more creative and visual. My first real portfolio pieces came from this time. I worked hard to get better at graphic design every single day. To get some real-world experience, I designed shirts for a website called theWareHouse.pk. More than 30 of my designs were even used in their ads. These were some of my earliest professional designs.

In 2020, with some graphic design experience, I started working as an artist for a Level Two Seller on Fiverr. I completed over 250 projects with this person. Even though I later stopped this work because the pay wasn’t fair, these hundreds of projects are a large part of my early portfolio, showing my ability to deliver many different designs.

That same year, I spent a full year learning 3D modeling and became very good at it. This added a whole new area to my skills and, of course, to my portfolio. I created many 3D models during this learning phase.

During 2020, while learning 3D and graphic design, I also started a YouTube channel, first called UJTutorial, then Usman Art. I put up videos about graphic design and 3D modeling. Even though the channel didn’t get huge attention, the videos themselves are part of my content creation portfolio.

In 2021, I started learning video editing. I wanted to make my art move and tell stories. My brother and I worked together to make a documentary film, which took over 1.5 months for writing, filming, and editing. This documentary and two more videos we made are significant additions to my video editing portfolio. In 2022, I started getting known as a video editor in my city. I made many ads for local charity groups, restaurants, and shops. Each of these ads became a new item in my growing portfolio, showing my ability to create commercial video content.

Building Redsglow and Expanding My Portfolio

As my skills grew, I wanted to show my work to the world in a more organized way. This led me to create my own agency, Redsglow. Building Redsglow’s website was a major project in itself. I first built it using coding, then rebuilt the entire site from scratch using WordPress. This entire process, from coding to WordPress development, became a big part of my web development portfolio.

I then put Redsglow on almost every social media platform, creating branding and content for each. This work also adds to my social media and branding portfolio. Once my brand, website, and social media were ready, I added my work to professional portfolio websites like Behance, Dribbble, ArtStation, and DevianArt. I also became a verified artist on 99designs, which showcases my design work to potential clients. Redsglow itself, as the main company for my startups and tools like DreamJobChaser, HirePakistani, and Build On Vibe (an AI startup), represents a large portfolio of entrepreneurial and product development work.

My Work at Pearl Lemon: Global Portfolio Pieces

A major part of my portfolio comes from my time at Pearl Lemon Group, a company based in the UK. I joined when I was only 16 years old. I began as a web designer, and my very first task was to redesign pearllemonweb.com. I managed to do it in just three days, which was a quick and impactful addition to my portfolio.

Over the next few months, I worked on many bigger projects for Pearl Lemon. I was given the task of redesigning and building many of their websites from scratch. This included sites like Pearl Lemon Cafe, Pearl Lemon Boba, Win on Upwork, Pearl Lemon Catering, and others. Each of these website builds and redesigns are key pieces in my portfolio, showing my ability to handle complex web projects.

My role grew, and I became Head of Website Design and then Head of Social Media. Managing teams and overseeing projects added a layer of leadership and project management to my portfolio. While I mainly focus on showing my actual digital creations, these leadership roles show my ability to deliver big results through others, too.

The Story Behind the Portfolio and Future Plans

Looking at my portfolio, it’s easy to see the successes. But it’s also important to remember the hard work and challenges behind each piece. I’ve faced problems like heavy workloads, long hours that affected my health, and even unfair blame for lost projects. These experiences, though tough, have shaped how I approach new work in my portfolio.

My journey continues, and so will my portfolio. I am always learning new things, like how SEO, lead generation, and game development work. I am always working on something bigger, including my own custom software and future startups. I want to manage over 1000 websites with a small team and a small budget. I have also made tools and ways to publish content more easily and at a lower cost. My portfolio will keep growing with new ideas and by staying up to date with the newest AI tools. This collection of work is a living record of my journey, showing what I’ve learned, what I’ve built, and what I can do.
