This page is all about me, Usman Jatoi. It’s a look at my journey, from starting young in the digital world to leading teams and building my own projects. I was born on April 18, 2006, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. My family moved back to Khanpur District, Pakistan, when I was two years old, which is where my story truly began.
My Early Steps in the Digital World
My interest in the digital world started very early, when I was just seven years old. I began working professionally at the age of twelve. Like many curious kids, I wanted to learn everything digital. I tried coding, making games, and building apps. But I soon found that spending my whole life just coding wasn’t what I truly wanted to do.
I then explored website frontend development. This is about how a website looks and feels. Even though this still involved some coding, I kept looking for what fit me best. I tried many different skills. Then, in late 2019, I started learning graphic design. This felt right to me; it let me be more creative.

I worked hard to get better at graphic design every day and night. To get some real experience, I designed shirts for a website called theWareHouse.pk. More than 30 of my designs were even used in ads, which was a good way to start.
In 2020, with some graphic design experience, I started working as an artist for a Fiverr Level Two Seller. I finished over 250 projects with this person. However, after a few months, I stopped because the money I earned was not fair for all the work I put in. Instead of stopping my digital journey, I kept learning new things. That same year, I spent a full year learning 3D modeling and became very good at it.
While learning 3D and graphic design in 2020, I also started a YouTube channel, first called UJTutorial, then Usman Art. I put up videos about graphic design and 3D modeling. But because I made them in my national language, and many people in my country didn’t know much about these skills, my channel didn’t get much attention. I felt discouraged at times. Still, I pushed myself forward. I told myself that giving up because of what others thought would only make me go backward. This thought kept me going.
In 2021, I started learning video editing. I wanted to make my art move and tell stories. I also started a second channel, Ujgamer418, because my friends told me to upload gaming videos while playing with them. But gaming became boring for me, so I later stopped that channel too.
By December 2021, my brother and I worked together to make a documentary film. This project took more than 1.5 months for writing, filming, and editing. After that, we made two more videos. In 2022, I started getting known as a video editor in my city. I made many ads for charity groups, restaurants, and shops. By this time, I had become a strong expert in graphic design, 3D modeling, and video editing.

Building Redsglow: My Own Company
I knew that only I and a few friends really knew about my strong digital skills. I wanted to show my work to the world and build something lasting. My first big step was to create my own agency to show my work and bring in new projects. I named it Redsglow.
I first built Redsglow’s website using coding, which took over a month. But I soon realized that WordPress would be better for what I wanted to do, so I rebuilt the entire site from scratch. This process also taught me how to build websites using WordPress. Building the website by myself took me over two months.
I then put Redsglow on almost every social media platform. This took another 1.5 months. Once my brand, website, and social media were ready, I added my work to portfolio websites like Behance, Dribbble, ArtStation, and DevianArt. I also became a verified artist on 99designs, a place where designers can find work. Redsglow became the main company for all my startups and tools, including DreamJobChaser, HirePakistani (a freelancer platform), and Build On Vibe (an AI startup). I am also a co-founder of AlhajarAlfidhi.
My Time at Pearl Lemon: A Big Learning Experience
A major part of my journey came when I joined Pearl Lemon Group, a company based in the UK. I was only 16 years old when I started, making me the youngest person on their team. This was a big opportunity for me.
I began as a web designer. My very first task was to redesign pearllemonweb.com. I managed to do it in just three days. This really impressed Deepak Shukla, the founder of Pearl Lemon, who openly praised my work. This quick success showed my talent and hard work right away.
Over the next few months, I worked on bigger projects. I was given the task of redesigning and building many Pearl Lemon websites from scratch. This included sites like Pearl Lemon Cafe, Pearl Lemon Boba, Win on Upwork, Pearl Lemon Catering, and others. I learned a lot from my teammates during this time. For example, Kaushal, the Head of Design, helped me with early problems, even doing video calls to guide me.
One memorable moment happened on a weekend. I accidentally crashed the main Pearl Lemon website while trying to update some plugins. I was scared because it was a very important site. I quickly messaged Ali Yasin, another team member, who was on leave. Ali, however, quickly fixed the problem in about 15 minutes, which greatly relieved me. This moment showed me the importance of teamwork and quick problem-solving.
By my seventh month at Pearl Lemon, I felt fully part of the team. I started joining weekly meetings and standups, which helped me get better at talking with others and being responsible. My daily routine included sending updates at the start and end of the day and recording my design progress. My confidence in my work and talking skills grew a lot, and I became a key team member. In my eighth month, Lydia, the Operations Director, gave me a good review. I could clearly see how much I had improved in my skills and in working within a remote company. I liked the benefits like flexible hours, working from home, good pay, and getting paid on time.
Pearl Lemon also helped me during personal times. When my house was being built and my brother’s wedding was happening, I received a $1000 loan, which I paid back in three months. I also got advance salary payments many times when I needed them, including during Eid. I even received a $50 bonus once when I worked over 16 hours on my birthday, showing the company valued my dedication.
By my 14th month at Pearl Lemon, my hard work and quick learning paid off in a big way. I was put in charge of Website Design, leading a team of designers. This made me the youngest Head of Web Design at the company. Soon after, I also became Head of Social Media, managing 13 to 15 people. During my time at Pearl Lemon, I became known for my strong design skills and for being good at managing teams and projects. This showed my remarkable growth from a young designer to a leader in a short period.
My Skills and What I Do Best
I have many creative and technical skills. I have worked on over 300 graphic design projects, edited short films and documentaries, and spent more than 1.5 years doing 3D work with Blender. Challenges I Faced and My Future Plans
Like anyone who works hard, I have faced my share of problems. I admit I am not great at attending meetings; I have joined only a few with my team, clients, or even Deepak. I also found it hard to sleep on time and take care of my health because of how much work I had. I admit that sometimes I focused on doing many things instead of doing them perfectly, and I didn’t always have fixed hours for my work, which made my work flow messy. I also experienced my pay being delayed even though I worked hard.
I remember a time when a client project, worth a good amount of money, was lost, and the company blamed me. I felt this was unfair because I was already very busy with other urgent internal tasks and only had two hours to work on that specific client’s gaming website. I felt that if that client was so important, I should have been given enough time and not also given other clients or hundreds of urgent internal tasks. This experience taught me about the pressures of managing many projects at once.
Looking ahead, I am always learning new things, like how SEO, lead generation, and game development work. I am always working on something bigger, including my own custom software and future startups. I want to manage over 1000 websites with a small team and a small budget. I have also made tools and ways to publish content more easily and at a lower cost. I keep working on new ideas and stay up to date with the newest AI tools. My journey has been a mix of hard work, learning, and growth, and I look forward to what comes next.
